HEADLINER – JIM JEFFRIES
THE AUSTRALIAN DOESN’T CARE WHO HE OFFENDS, BADGERING THOSE WHO RESIST UNTIL THEY CAPITULATE AND JOIN IN THE LAUGHTER, HARD HITTING AND EXPERTLY DELIVERED” THE HERALD 24/08/06

Regarded as one of the fastest rising stars in the comedy world, his brash confrontational style has made him one of the most sought after comics on the world stage.

“JEFFRIES DOESN’T CARE ABOUT OFFENDING THE THIN-SKINNED WITH HIS BRUTALLY HONEST OBSERVATIONS… HE HAD US ON THE EDGE OF OUR SEATS”
- THE LIST 10/08/06

Jim gets away with jokes that most comedians wouldn’t touch due to his ability to both charm and offend the crowd through equal measures.

“VERY FUNNY… HE HAS A GIFT FOR BEING EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT. IN FACT, IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED THIS MIGHT BE ONE TO AVOID, IF YOU DON’T TAKE YOURSELF TO SERIOUSLY, GO ALONG AND MARVEL AT HOW JEFFRIES GETS AWAY WITH IT.” – SKINNYFEST 22/08/06

“SICK AND REPELLENT” STEVEN GREEN CHRISTIAN VOICE 16/08/06

“HARD HITTING, UNRELENTING GAGS… CHRISTIAN VOICE CERTAINLY KNOW A FINE COMEDIAN WHEN THEY PERSECUTE HIM.” – THE SCOTSMAN 17/08/06

Compere – Charlie Ross
“Charlie has been performing on the UK circuit for six years. In that time he has written and performed in two Fringe shows which have been very well received by audiences and critics alike. He has a likeable and engaging style, warm and chatty which audiences lap up. He has performed at most of the major comedy clubs in the country including the Comedy Store and is a regular on the Jongleurs network. Charlie is currently writing and developing a sitcom for the BBC Comedy Unit and will be touring his first play, a solo show premiering in the London in July 2006. He has also recently appeared in two audio Dr Who adventures for the BBC.”

Support – Chris Henry
“A man who enjoys tackling issues you ordinarily wouldn’t discuss with your Gran around the dinner-table, Chris Henry is renowned for his exuberant brand of mischievous humour.
A regular compere and headliner, Chris can normally been seen packing out clubs across Scotland and his name seems to be on every billing going – an impressive feat considering the sheer volume of comics on the circuit.
Henry enjoys being on stage, his energy, timing and facial expressions exudes a childlike sense of fun, which uncontrollably infects anyone around him. Continual touring has not only given him a foothold on the Scottish scene, but has seen him branch out to playing some of the biggest clubs in England.”
