The QM is holding by-elections on Thursday 6th December to fill the remaining positions on the board. If you’ve got opinions about how the QM could be better, or have always wanted to get more involved with the running of the Union, this is your chance! There are lots of positions available:

Board Members are responsible for ensuring things run smoothly in the Union, which involves attending Board Meetings to discuss issues affecting the Union, listening to and implementing the views of members, and being one of two Board Members responsible for the events taking place in the building at night.

If you decide to run, you have to submit your nomination by Friday 30th November, (nomination packs are available from reception) and the voting takes place between 9 and 6 on Thurs 6th December. You’ll also have to attend the Heckling Meeting on Wednesday 6th in Jim’s. All useful information is in the position booklet, and if you have any more questions feel free to ask a Board Member!
