When you come to University you will find out about many ways of getting involved with University Life. The University of Glasgow has a wide range of Clubs and Societies. The Freshers’ Fayre runs on the Tuesday and Wednesday of Freshers’ Week. From the SRC Website:

“The Freshers’ Fayre, which will be held on the Tuesday and Wednesday of Freshers’ Week, where you can meet students from clubs and societies, media groups, as well as lots of companies and banks giving away freebies in the hope you might want to sign up for something! “

So go along and check it out. Many clubs and societies meet in the Queen Margaret Union, and further information will be posted on this website. The University also maintains a list of clubs and societies, with links to their websites.
