Recently a Glasgow University student was attacked and mugged. The SRC, working with Strathclyde Police wish to let youknow that this was an isolated incident on campus and there have been no similar events reported.

As students you are at risk from targeted crime and should always be aware of your personal safety and look after your belongings. However, there is no need to be alarmed. The SRC, Strathclyde Police and University Security are working to make campus as safe as it can be and will inform you of any safety risks particular to the campus and Halls of Residence.

If you do feel unsafe or threatened at any point please contact Campus Security, Halls of Residence Security or the Police immediately. If you are a victim of crime, do not hesitate to report it.
